Relationship between lyrics and visuals
There are many points in the video where the lyrics match the visuals. A few examples are when he sings the lyrics "her eye's, her eye's make the stars look like there not shining", he draws a picture of her eyes (with the tape wires); and also when he sings "her hair, her hair, falls perfectly without her trying" he draws a picture of the girl with her hair falling 'perfectly'.
Relationship between music and visuals?
There is a relationship with the music and visuals and we can see this throughout the video. Near the begining of the video the, there is just music and we can hear a strong beat (0:27-0:32), but the visual matches this as Bruno Mars draws a drum and hits it to the beat.
Another example is when Bruno is playing piano in the video and the music we can hear on top of the lyrics is the piano. Also from 2:40-2:43, we can hear a bell being played which matches the picture on screen, where Bruno Mars is ringing the bell.

In this video and Bruno Mars' previous video (Billionnaire ft Travie McCoy) he is wearing a hat, this has become something he is well known for and one of his motifs.

Reference of the notion of looking
The song itself is about a girl, the lyrics point out specific features on the woman that he finds attractive about her (eyes, hair, lips) and also uses the word 'sexy' to descirbe her. The picture again mirrors this and we see the close ups of her eyes, lips and hair. She is also wearing short shorts, showing of her legs (thought of as a sexual body feature). Also some of the shots used on her, do portray her in a sexual way; this shot shows one of them:
