This is the album cover for Cheryl Cole's first album "3 Words"

I like this album cover, as it clearly shows Cheryl Cole as a solo artist (from being in the band Girls Aloud). She is establisihing herself as s new artisit and that is what our artist is also doing, which is why i feel that this is an inspirational cover. The mid-shot of the artist allows us to see her face clearly and is  a good way to start as a new act. I would like to use something like this when making my album cover, as if feel it is important for our artist to be clearly notcieable and recogniseable. It is her first album and it is representing her image and style that she is being introduced to the media in. I also like the way the album title and artist name is written as it subtle yet it blends in with the picture.
